Anthony P. Hahn

Anthony P. Hahn is a 1997 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a 2000 graduate of the Marquette University Law School. While in law school, he served as a law clerk for Hostak, Henzl & Bichler, S.C., and rejoined the firm’s litigation group in 2004 after working for an insurance defense firm in Milwaukee for several years. He was named a shareholder of the firm in 2007.

Attorney Hahn´s practice focuses exclusively on civil litigation. Together with his insurance defense practice, which includes the defense of auto and premises liability claims, bad-faith claims and coverage disputes, he is frequently involved in litigation involving products liability, business and other contract issues, securities, real estate, construction and employment, including restrictive covenants. He has substantial experience in all phases of civil litigation and has tried numerous cases to both courts and juries. Additionally, he has extensive appellate experience and has argued before the Wisconsin Supreme Court. He has also served as a lecturer regarding Wisconsin´s "Safe-Place Statute" and co-authored an article with Attorney Thomas Devine in the Wisconsin Civil Trial Journal entitled "Holding the Chiropractor Responsible for Damages under Hanson."

In addition to being licensed in Wisconsin, Attorney Hahn is admitted in Illinois, practicing primarily in Lake and McHenry Counties. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He is a member of the Wisconsin Defense Counsel, Racine County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel.

Attorney Hahn has also been identified as a Rising Star in the 2008 and 2009 Wisconsin version of the Super Lawyers magazine, which recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the State of Wisconsin who are either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less.
